The General will truly be missed. Coach Knight added color, passion and the ocassional controversy to Men’s Division I basketball.
I personally think he got a raw deal with his termination at IU.
But he came right back and performed well for seven more seasons with Texas Tech. Take that IU. Now he will turn over the reins at Tech to his son Pat.
Just in thinking as I write this…., Bob Knight is an American icon and certainly not a politician. A true breath of fresh air especially at a time when all we hear is how bad everything is and the spew of BS from all the political machine…..
