A very interesting green energy invention presented on 60 Minutes 2/21/2010

According to this broadcast, pilot units are already being tested by Google, FedEx, Walmart and Ebay.

Dr. KR Sridhar is the co-founder and CEO of Bloom Energy and comes from a background in mechanical and nuclear engineering and has done Mars work for NASA.

In the 60 Minutes segment, he guestimates that eventually these fuel cell units could be available to consumers for approximately $3000.

There will supposedly be a major announcement on Wednesday, February 24, 2010.  Stock ipo ?
