Wierd Hexagon pattern on Saturn’s North Pole…

By Hmmm

Evidently this was first noted several years ago, but the Cassini space probe now has a much better complete view of a Hexagon shape on the North Pole of the planet Saturn.

Saturn is already unique being the only planet with rings and now this odd Hexagon that evidently goes 60 miles down into its north pole atmosphere.

More on this as it develops…

Thanks for checking out my posting.  Check out the latest at http://mrobvious.wordpress.com

Since seeing is said to be believing, a link to a NASA photo of this feature would have added considerably in the writers estimation.

    Nick,

Thanks for your thoughts and for visiting the page.
Hopefully you were able to see the link to the jpl/nasa artlcle, which does include some pics of this phenomena.
I assume that you were hoping for me to do and embed img src or href link to a particular pic from that page as well.

My horrible past experience has been that those links tend to change a lot and alas I have a lot of bogus broken links on my hand, which then add another level of maintenance for ME to do.

Call me lazy, but Ive had plenty to do in trying to do a quasi-regular posting on here and then tend to a few comments as I get a chance.

I have NO intention of this turning into an unpaid job Hahaha.

So, Yes I agree that if I choose to go down that road again of adding graphics, that it would spice the page up a bit and add more variety.
However at this point it is just a venting post for miscellaneous things Ive stumbled across in the case of this amnesty crap….something that’s irritating me.
